My name is Cindy Woltjer and I am running for Windemere Township Treasurer. I am the current township clerk. With my years of construction bookkeeping background, I would be better suited as township treasurer. I intend to bring clarity and brevity in reporting to the public. I will use the state recommended C-TAS accounting program which the township already purchased and has yet to use. The future cost of this program is free compared to the current Quickbooks program that has cost the township a minimum of $500 to $600 yearly. This does not include misc. costs that the program charges for its "extras". Electing me will also eliminate the extra cost of paying an outside party to process claims each month. I also plan to work closely with the new township clerk to ensure that claims are accurate and that the line of communication with that person are always open. I would also like to stress that in order for this to happen, the electorate needs to VOTE NO on Options B & D. Please consider this while casting your ballots. Thank you.
