HELP WANTED Temporary Electrical Ground-worker The Moose Lake Water & Light Commission DBA Moose Lake Power is seeking an individual for a 1000 Hour temporary electrical ground-worker position. This position is for our 2024 summer and fall construction and maintenance season, which runs approximately from May through November. This position includes the construction and maintenance of overhead and underground distribution lines. Applicants must be a graduate of an accredited power line worker school program and have knowledge of the Occupational Safety Health Administration (OSHA). A Minnesota Commercial driver's license is also required. Duties: 1. Ability to follow oral or written instructions. 2. Safely assist crews in the installation and maintenance of distribution lines. 3. Ability to do heavy manual labor, including operating shovels, jackhammers, manually pulling wire. 4. Work well with utility employees, customers and the public. 5. Adhere to all utility policies, procedures, and safety regulations. 6. Work outdoors in all weather conditions. 7. Regularly required to stand, walk, stoop, bend, kneel, etc. 8. Regularly required to lift over 50 lbs. safely. All required PPE will be provided by the utility. The compensation rate for this position is set at $31.91 per hour.
