A Message to the Moose Lake Community From Revolve Labs Revolve Labs would like to extend our sincere thanks to Moose Lake Power & City officials for the thoughtful conversation and partnership throughout our recent discussions. As we take the next steps toward developing an air-cooled modular Bitcoin mining facility in your community, we want to share who we are, what this project involves, and how we plan to keep residents informed every step of the way. Who We Are Revolve Labs is a U.S.-based company that builds and operates air-cooled modular Bitcoin mining facil- ities. Our team has spent years developing quiet, efficient, small-footprint facilities that run on electricity and air cooling, without water usage, chemicals, or backup generators. We've operated successfully in Minnesota for several years and are committed to being responsible neighbors and long-term partners in the communities where we work. About the Moose Lake Project The proposed Moose Lake site is a right-sized, air-cooled modular Bitcoin mining facility designed spe- cifically for Bitcoin mining. This is a small, contained project, nothing like the large hyperscale data-cen- ter campuses currently in the news in other parts of Minnesota. Our facility uses no water, produces no emissions, and requires very limited traffic once construction is complete. The modular data center units sit on piers rather than large concrete slabs, minimizing result- ing in minimal ground disturbance. Local Economic Benefits Revolve Labs prioritizes working with local contractors, electricians, and service providers whenever possible. We also plan to hire locally for ongoing site operations. The project is expected to generate meaningful long-term tax revenue for the city and provide steady utility revenue that helps support reliable infrastructure. In addition, our ability to temporarily shut down operations during peak demand events can help stabi- lize the electrical grid by reducing strain when electricity usage is highest. Noise & Environmental Considerations Since noise has been the main concern shared with us, we want to address it head-on and with full transparency. Because our facility is air-cooled, the only sound comes from the industrial fans that move air across our equipment. To ensure the community feels no impact, we are working with professional noise-control specialists who will conduct modeling and recommend the appropriate sound-abatement measures. With these measures in place, noise outside the property will remain consistent with existing ambient levels, meaning our operations will not noticeably change what residents hear today. Our facility uses no water for cooling and produces no air emissions. All electronic equipment is re- sponsibly recycled through certified e-waste partners. The site will use minimal lighting, shielded and directed downward to preserve the night sky. Staying Connected With the Community We understand that residents may have questions, and we want to make ourselves fully available to answer them. We are planning to host an in-person community meeting in January at the Soo Line Event Center, where our team will provide visuals, walk through the project, and take questions directly from the public. We will provide the community with at least 14 days' advance notice before the event. In the meantime, residents with questions are encouraged to contact us at communityrelations@ revolvelabs.ai, and we'll respond within two business days. Our Commitment We want Moose Lake residents to feel informed, respected, and included as this project moves forward. Our goal is to build something that aligns with the community's expectations while creating a lasting positive impact. Thank you for your openness and partnership so far. We look forward to meeting many of you in January and answering any questions you may have.
